Summary

A ruling of Malik in the chapter on the general rules of the ritual bath: he was asked about a man in sexual impurity for whom water was set out to bathe, who forgot and put a finger in it to tell the heat of the water from its coolness. He said that if no harm had touched his finger, he does not think the water becomes unclean for him. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it from Malik. 1
