Summary
A saying of Malik transmitted by Yahya in the chapter on urinating standing and otherwise: he was asked whether there was any report about washing the private parts from urine and excrement. He said he had heard that some who had passed away used to clean themselves from excrement with water, and that he would like the private parts to be washed from urine. The editor notes that al-Tirmidhi, after Aisha's report (19), who listed those who held to cleaning with water, did not count Malik among them. 1
