Summary
A saying of Malik in the chapter on the command to perform ablution for one who touches the Qur'an: the best of what is heard on the verse of Surat al-Waqi'a that none touches it but the purified is that it stands like the verses of Surat Abasa about the reminder in honoured pages, held by noble, devout scribes. The editor explains that the intended ones are the angels. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab transmitted it from Malik. 1 2
