Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Ishaq ibn Abdullah ibn Abi Talha from Anas ibn Malik (may God be pleased with him), in the chapter on general rules of ablution: the time of the afternoon prayer came and people looked for water for ablution and did not find it. A little water in a vessel was brought to the Prophet ﷺ; he put his hand into it and ordered people to perform ablution from it. Anas saw water springing from between his fingers until all the people performed ablution. The editor cites al-Bukhari in both ablution and the signs of prophethood, Muslim, al-Tirmidhi, al-Nasa'i and al-Bayhaqi in his Sunan and his Dala'il al-Nubuwwa, and refers to al-Tamhid. 1
