Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir and Safwan ibn Sulaym, both from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi, from Rabi'a ibn Abdullah ibn al-Hudayr, in the chapter on leaving ablution for food touched by fire: Rabi'a had supper with Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him), then Umar prayed without performing ablution. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd and Ibn Wahb transmitted it from Malik, in al-Tahawi, and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan too. 1
