Summary
The first report in the chapter on the time of Friday prayer, transmitted by Yahya from Malik from his paternal uncle Abu Suhayl ibn Malik from his father Malik ibn Abi Amir: a carpet belonging to Aqil ibn Abi Talib was laid on the Friday at the western wall of the mosque, and when the wall's shadow covered the whole carpet, Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) came out and prayed Friday, just after the decline; then they went back after the prayer and rested through the heat of the day. The editor explains the word tanfasa as a thin-piled rug, and daha' as the strengthening of the day. Abu Mus'ab, Suwayd and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan transmitted it from Malik. 1 2
