Abu Ya'la al-Khalil ibn Abd Allah al-Khalili, a hadith scholar. His birth is estimated around 370 AH (980 CE), and he died in 446 AH (1055 CE), according to the "Encyclopaedia of Notable Scholars and Men of Letters". 1
