Summary
A saying of Malik: whoever makes the lesser pilgrimage in Shawwal, Dhu al-Qadda or Dhu al-Hijja, then returns to his family and makes the pilgrimage in the same year, owes no offering; the offering is owed only by one who makes the lesser pilgrimage in the months of the pilgrimage, then stays until the pilgrimage and makes it. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1116) transmitted it from Malik. 1
