«من كان معه هدي فليهل بالحج مع العمرة، ثم لا يحل حتى يحل منهما جميعاً»
A verbatim excerpt of the text, forty words at most; the full text is in the edition cited under sources
Summary
A saying of Malik: the Companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ entered ihram for the lesser pilgrimage in the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage; then the Messenger of God said to them: whoever has an offering with him should enter ihram for the pilgrimage together with the lesser pilgrimage, and not release himself until he releases himself from both. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1080) and Suwayd (508) and al-Shaybani (393) transmitted it from Malik, and that it will come later connected under number 1042, and the hadith will come in chapter 74 from al-Qasim from Aisha on the entry of a menstruating woman into Mecca. 1
