Summary
Malik transmits from Abdallah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Hazm, from his father, that Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman told him that Umm Sulaym bint Milhan (may God be pleased with her) asked the Messenger of God ﷺ; she menstruated or gave birth after she had departed on the day of sacrifice, and he permitted her to go out. The editor notes that Ibn Abd al-Barr thought the hadith cut off, and that what is preserved in it is the story of Safiyya from Aisha. 1
