Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of God ﷺ sent Abdullah ibn Hudhafa around during the days of Mina, saying: they are only days of eating, drinking and remembrance of God. The editor notes that the hadith is with Yunus ibn Yazid, Ibn Abi Dhi'b and Abdullah ibn Umar al-Umari from al-Zuhri relayed as Malik transmits it, which is the correct form of Ibn Shihab's hadith; and that in the chain of Rawh ibn Ubada from Salih ibn Abi al-Akhdar there is an error. 1
