Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Zayd ibn Aslam that a man in the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ was wounded, and the wound was blocked by blood. He called two men of Banu Anmar, who looked at him. They claimed the Messenger of God said to them: which of you is the better physician? They said: is there any good in medicine, Messenger of God? Zayd claimed the Messenger of God said: God sent down the medicine that sent down the diseases. The editor notes Ibn Abd al-Barr's view that the report is broken in the transmission of the majority; Asim ibn Umar transmitted its first half connected from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih from Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him). 1
