Summary
Malik transmits from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him), that when people saw the first fruit they brought it to the Prophet ﷺ. When he took it he would pray for blessing on the fruit, on Medina, and on its sa' and mudd; then he would call the youngest child he saw and give him that fruit. The hadith includes the Prophet's prayer for Medina like the prayer Abraham made for Mecca. 1
