Summary
Malik transmits from Humayd ibn Qays al-Makki, that the two sons of Jafar ibn Abi Talib entered the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said to their nurse: why do I see them thin? Their nurse said: Messenger of God, the evil eye hastens to them, and what has stopped us from seeking a cure for them is that we do not know what suits you in that. The Messenger of God said: seek a cure for them, for if anything could outrun fate, the evil eye would have outrun it. 1
