Summary
Malik transmits from his uncle Abu Suhayl ibn Malik, from his father, from Kab al-Ahbar, that a man took off his sandals, and was asked: why did you take off your sandals? Perhaps you interpreted the verse about removing the two sandals in the sacred valley. Kab then said: do you know what the sandals of Moses were? Malik said: I do not know how the man answered. Kab said: they were made of the skin of a dead donkey. 1
