Summary
A saying of Malik: as for what is not eaten fresh but only after its harvesting, all grains, it is not estimated; rather its owners are trusted with it when they harvest and thresh it and clean it and it comes out as grain; they pay zakat on it when it reaches the amount on which zakat is due. Malik said: this is the matter on which there is no dispute among us. 1
