Summary
A saying of Malik regarding a man who has ten dinars, trades with them, and a year passes when they have reached twenty dinars: he pays zakat on them at once and does not wait a year from the day they reached the threshold, because the year has passed over them while they were twenty dinars with him; then no zakat is due on them until a year passes from the day it was paid. The editor notes that Abu Musab transmitted it from Malik. 1
