Summary
A saying of Malik: the agreed practice among us regarding the rent of slaves, their income, the rent of houses and the contract of manumission (kitaba) of a contract slave is that no zakat is due on any of that, little or much, until a year passes from the day its owner receives it. The editor notes that Abu Musab transmitted it from Malik. 1
