«اتجروا في أموال اليتامى، لا تأكلها الزكاة»
A verbatim excerpt of the text, forty words at most; the full text is in the edition cited under sources
Summary
The first report in the chapter on zakat on the property of orphans and trading with it. A report from Malik that it reached him that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) said: trade with the property of orphans, lest zakat consume it. The editor notes that Abu Musab transmitted it from Malik, that it is reported connected and stopped on Umar through a flawed route in al-Daraqutni (2/110), and cites Talkhis al-Habir. 1
