Summary
Malik transmits from Ayyub ibn Musa, from Muawiya ibn Abdallah ibn Badr al-Juhani, that his father told him that he camped at a camp of a people on the road to Syria and found a purse containing eighty dinars. He mentioned it to Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him), who said: announce it at the doors of the mosques, and tell everyone who comes from Syria for a year. When the year passes, it is yours. 1
