Summary
Yahya transmits from Malik, from Abu al-Rijal Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman, from his mother Amra bint Abd al-Rahman, that she heard that a man bought the fruit of an orchard in the time of the Messenger, worked on it, and remained in it until the loss became clear to him. He asked the owner of the orchard to remit it for him or cancel the sale, and the owner swore he would not. The buyer's mother went to the Messenger and told him, and he said: he swears not to do good. The owner of the orchard heard this, came to the Messenger, and said: Messenger of God, it is his. 1
