Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Nawfal that Urwa ibn al-Zubayr told him, from Aisha, mother of the believers, from Judamah bint Wahb al-Asadiyya, that she heard the Messenger say: I was about to forbid ghila, until I remembered that the Romans and the Persians practise it, and it does their children no harm. Malik said: ghila is that a man touches his wife while she is nursing. 1
