Summary
Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Said that a man asked Abu Musa al-Ashari (may God be pleased with him): I sucked milk from my wife's breast, and it went into my belly. Abu Musa said: I think she has become forbidden to you. The man said: what do you say? Abu Musa told Abdullah ibn Masud: see what you give as a ruling to the man. Ibn Masud said: there is no fosterage except what occurs within the two years. Abu Musa said: do not ask me about anything while this scholar is among you. 1
