Chain of transmission
Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Yahya ibn Sa'id, in the chapter on shortening the prayer on a journey: Yahya asked Salim ibn Abdullah about the hardest thing he saw his father do with the sunset prayer on a journey. He said the sun set while they were at Dhat al-Jaysh, and his father prayed the sunset prayer at al-Aqiq. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it, and that Abd al-Razzaq transmitted a similar report from al-Thawri from Yahya ibn Sa'id. 1
