Chain of transmission
Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Salih ibn Kaysan from Urwa ibn al-Zubayr from Aisha, in the chapter on shortening the prayer on a journey: prayer was prescribed as two rak'as at a time, at home and on a journey. The journey prayer was kept as it was, and the home prayer was increased. The editor cites al-Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, al-Nasa'i, Ibn Hibban and al-Tahawi from Malik's transmitters, and refers to al-Tamhid. 1 2
