Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father from Aisha, in the chapter on seated voluntary prayer: she never saw the Prophet ﷺ pray night prayer seated until he grew old. He would recite seated, and when he wanted to bow he stood and recited about thirty or forty verses, then bowed. The editor cites al-Bukhari, al-Tahawi, Ahmad and al-Bayhaqi from Malik's transmitters, and refers to al-Tamhid. 1 2
