Summary
A report that Malik transmits from Abu al-Nadr, client of Umar ibn Ubayd Allah, from Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman from Aisha, in the chapter on night prayer: she would sleep in front of the Prophet ﷺ with her feet in the direction of his prayer place. When he prostrated he would nudge her, and she drew in her feet; when he stood she stretched them out again. She said that houses had no lamps in those days. The editor cites al-Bukhari, Muslim, al-Nasa'i, Ibn Hibban, Ahmad and al-Shafi'i, and refers to al-Tamhid. 1 2
