Summary
A saying of Malik in the chapter on one who catches a rak'a of the Friday prayer: whoever is caught in a crowd on Friday, bows and cannot prostrate until the imam stands or finishes his prayer, should prostrate when the people stand, if he can do it after bowing. If he cannot until the imam has finished, he prefers to begin his prayer again as a four-rak'a noon prayer. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it. 1
