Summary

A saying of Malik in the chapter on one who stands up after completing a prayer or after two rak'as: whoever forgets in his prayer and stands after completing the four rak'as, recites and bows, then when he raises his head from bowing remembers that he had completed the prayer, should return and sit and not prostrate. If he had already made one of the two prostrations, he need not make the other; then when he finishes his prayer he makes two prostrations while seated after the salam. The editor notes that Abu Mus'ab and Suwayd transmitted it. 1 2
