Roles are dated and sourced; the museum describes the act and attributes the judgement.
Overview
Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham (may God be pleased with him), a Qurashi of the Makhzum, one of the readers of Mecca. Uthman included him in the committee for copying the codices with Zayd ibn Thabit (may God be pleased with him), Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr and Sa'id ibn al-As. 1
On the committee
He is one of the three Qurashis ordered to write what they disagreed about in the tongue of Quraysh. The event is detailed in the gathering of the Qur'an under Uthman. 1
A second source is needed: the data does not give the year of his birth or death.
