Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Humayd al-Tawil from Anas ibn Malik (may God be pleased with him) that the Messenger of God ﷺ, when he set out for Khaybar, reached it at night; and when he came upon a people at night he did not raid until morning. When morning came, the Jews went out with their hoes and baskets; when they saw him they said: Muhammad, by God, Muhammad and the army! The Messenger of God said: God is greatest; Khaybar is ruined; when we descend into the courtyard of a people, evil is the morning of the warned. 1
