Summary
Malik was asked about the disagreement among people concerning entering ihram for the garlanding of the offering by one who intends neither the pilgrimage nor the lesser pilgrimage; he said: the matter we follow is the saying of Aisha, Mother of the Believers: the Messenger of God ﷺ sent his offering and stayed; nothing that God had made lawful for him was forbidden him until he sacrificed the offering. The editor notes that Abu Musab (1101) transmitted it from Malik. 1
