Summary

Malik transmits from Abdallah ibn Dinar from Abdullah ibn Umar that he said: the Messenger of God ﷺ ordered the people of Medina to enter ihram from Dhu al-Hulayfa, the people of Syria from al-Juhfa, and the people of Najd from Qarn. Ibn Umar said: as for these three I heard them from the Messenger of God, and I was told that the Messenger of God said: the people of Yemen enter ihram from Yalamlam. The editor notes that the transmitters of the Muwatta narrated it thus, and that Nafi's students all narrated it from Ibn Umar. 1
