Chain of transmission
Summary
Malik transmits from Ibn Shihab, from Anas ibn Malik (may God be pleased with him), that the Messenger of God ﷺ entered Mecca in the year of the conquest with a helmet on his head; when he took it off, a man came and said: Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Kaaba. He said: kill him. The editor notes that Ibn Abd al-Barr said Malik alone transmitted this hadith, and that no other chain for it is established apart from his. 1
