Summary
Malik transmits from Ibn Shihab, from Said ibn al-Musayyab, that when Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) came to Mecca he prayed two rak'as with them; then he turned and said: people of Mecca, complete your prayer, for we are a people on a journey. Then Umar prayed two rak'as at Mina, and it did not reach us that he said anything to them. The editor notes that this is a connected sound report from Ibn Umar, Ibn Masud and Muawiya. 1
