Summary
Malik transmits from Zayd ibn Aslam, from his father, that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) led the people at Mecca in two rak'as; when he finished he said: people of Mecca, complete your prayer, for we are a people on a journey. Then he prayed two rak'as at Mina, and it did not reach him that he said anything to them. 1
