Summary

Yahya ibn Said narrated to Malik that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) said to a man: what is your name? He said: Jamra. Whose son? He said: son of Shihab. From whom? He said: from al-Harqa. Where is your home? He said: in the Hurrat al-Nar. In which of them? He said: in Dhat Laza. Umar said: go to your people, for they have been burnt; and it was as Umar had said. The editor notes al-Zurqani's view that the report is broken, and that Abu al-Qasim ibn Bishran connected it through Musa ibn Uqba from Nafi from Ibn Umar. 1
