Summary
Malik transmits from Abu Nu'aym Wahb ibn Kaysan, who said: food was brought to the Messenger of God ﷺ, with his stepson Umar ibn Abi Salama. The Messenger of God said to him: say the name of God, and eat what is nearest to you. The editor notes that most of Malik's transmitters report it as relayed (mursal), while Wahb ibn Kaysan's report from Umar ibn Abi Salama is connected by routes other than Malik's. 1
