Summary
Malik transmits from Abdallah ibn Abi Bakr, who said: the Messenger of God ﷺ said: God fight the Jews; they were forbidden to eat fat, so they sold it and ate its price. The editor notes Ibn Abd al-Barr's view that the hadith is traced to the Prophet with connected chains through sound routes from Umar, Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him), Ibn Abbas, Jabir and others. 1
