Summary
Malik transmits from Ibn Shihab, from Urwa ibn al-Zubayr, from Aisha, that she said: the Messenger of God ﷺ was never given a choice between two matters without taking the easier of them, as long as it was not sinful; if it was sinful, he was the farthest of people from it. The Messenger of God never took vengeance for himself, except when the sanctity of God was violated, and then he took vengeance for God. 1
