Summary
A saying of Malik closing the chapter: whoever sells the root of his orchard or land while it carries crop or fruit that has not yet ripened, its zakat falls on the buyer; if it has ripened and its sale is due, the zakat on the fruit or crop falls on the seller, unless the seller stipulates otherwise. The editor records the variants between copies. 1
