Summary
A saying of Malik: the Sunna on which there is no dispute among us is that zakat is not due on an heir for property he inherits in debt, goods, a house, a slave or a slave-girl, until a year passes over the price of what its owner sold or collected, from the day he sold it and received it. The editor notes that Abu Musab transmitted it from Malik. 1
