Summary
Yahya transmits from Malik, from Abu Ghatafan ibn Tarif al-Murri, from Dawud ibn al-Husayn, that Marwan ibn al-Hakam sent him to Abdullah ibn Abbas (may God be pleased with him) to ask: what is due for a molar? Ibn Abbas said: five camels. Marwan returned him to Ibn Abbas, saying: do you equate the front of the mouth with the molars? Ibn Abbas said: if you judged this only by the fingers, their blood-money would be the same. 1
