Summary
Malik transmits from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Ata ibn Yasar, that the Prophet ﷺ forbade steeping unripe dates and ripe dates together, and dates and raisins together. The editor notes that the report is mursal in the Muwatta, and connected through sound routes from Ibn Abbas, Jabir, Abu Qatada, Abu Said, Anas and Abu Hurayra (may God be pleased with him). 1
