Summary
Malik transmits from Rabia ibn Abi Abd al-Rahman that Umar ibn al-Khattab (may God be pleased with him) said to a man who went out with his wife's slave-girl on a journey, and had intercourse with her: his wife was jealous and told Umar. The man said: she gave her to me as a gift. Umar said: bring me the evidence, or I will stone you. His wife admitted that she had given her to him as a gift. 1
