Summary
Malik said: the practice among us about a woman found pregnant without a husband, who says: I was forced, or says: I was married: her word is not accepted and the prescribed punishment is applied to her, unless she has evidence of a marriage, or of coercion, or she came bleeding if she was a virgin, or she cried for help until she was brought in that state, or something like that which shows the shame she has suffered. If she brings none of that, the prescribed punishment is applied to her and her claim is not accepted. 1
