Summary
Malik said of a slave owned by two men when one of them conditionally frees his share: they assess him against each other. If the one who conditionally freed him buys him, he is entirely conditionally freed; if he does not buy him, his conditional freedom is annulled, unless the one who keeps his enslavement wishes to give him his partner who conditionally freed him his value, and if he gives it to him at its value, that binds him, and he is entirely conditionally freed. 1
