Summary
Malik said of a contract slave or a conditionally freed slave who bought a slave-girl and had intercourse with her, and she became pregnant by him and bore a child: the child of each of them is of his standing, freed with his manumission and enslaved with his enslavement. When he is freed, his umm walad is property of his, which is handed to him when he is freed. 1
