Summary
A report from Malik that it reached him that Aisha, wife of the Prophet ﷺ, used to say: breaking the bone of a dead Muslim is like breaking it while he is alive, meaning in sin. The editor notes that Abu Musab, Suwayd and al-Shafii (in al-Bayhaqi) transmitted it from Malik, and that Ahmad transmitted it as a stopped report (mawquf) from Muhammad ibn Abdallah al-Ansari through Amra from Aisha. Yahya ibn Said al-Ansari and his brother Saad ibn Said transmitted it raised from Amra from Aisha from the Prophet in Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Ibn Hibban, al-Daraqutni and al-Bayhaqi. 1
