Summary
Yahya said: Malik said of a man who gives money to a man for profit-sharing, and stipulates that he may buy only certain goods with his money, or forbids him to buy a specific item by name. Malik said: one who stipulates on the one he takes in profit-sharing that he may not buy an animal or a named item, there is no harm in that. One who stipulates that he may not buy anything except certain goods, that is disliked, unless the goods he is forbidden from buying other than are plentiful and always available, in winter or summer, in which case there is no harm. 1
